you found this site, like you, here at Chocolate
Ecstasy Tours we
love chocolate.
We
are crazy about real chocolate,
made by chocolatiers, with pure ingredients. You won't find the
cocoa butter being replaced with nasty vegetable fats, and whey
powder and skimmed milk powder will not feature anywhere. The
chocolates are made by individuals and companies who care about
the quality of what goes into what they serve you, and all of
their staff are just as passionate about their chocolatey goodness
as they are.
The
Chocolate Intention:
Chocolate
Ecstasy Tours aims
to be the first place you think of for a fun and indulgent chocolate
experience. We want to show why good chocolate tastes so much
better and also why it costs more than a Mars Bar and why it is
(and you are!) so worth it.
Whether
you're a connoisseur or you just love chocolate you are guaranteed
to get a chocolate experience worth indulging in.
We
can also run Chocolate "Tours" in your own home or venue.

beginning of Chocolate Ecstasy Tours:
It
began with a passion for chocolate...
The
food of the gods.
Jennifer
Earle is the founder of Chocolate
Ecstasy Tours.
Chocolate
is possibly her most
favourite thing in the world, but she's also passionate about
all good food, travel, London, meeting interesting people and
chocolate.
(Did I say that one already?)
Arriving
in London in 2004, Jennifer’s first objective was to find
out where to find good food, and, in particular, where to buy
nice chocolate.
Upon discovering that London’s chocolate
shops were surprisingly
difficult to find (but very worthy of the effort) she thought
perhaps other people might like to be saved the heartache and
shown to the shops by a fellow chocolate
lover.
How much better would it be if they could taste the chocolate
before buying them? And get a discount on their chocolate
treats too? Not to mention the delight of wandering around London’s
beautiful streets making new friends and learning about London
and chocolate!
So,
after much more research (this mainly involved eating lots of
chocolate),
Jennifer
guided her first Chocolate Tour group in September 2005 and then
opened to the public in January 2006.

Meet
the other Chocolate Ecstasy Tour Guides:
Alice
Merino is
a qualified City of London guide and a certified chocoholic. She
is passionate about chocolate and London and began showing off
this beautiful city as a guide on the open top buses whilst at
university. Alice also speaks French, Spanish and some Portuguese.
Jennifer Skapeti
is an
Australian actress and public speaking trainer who has lived in
London for almost five years. Since being introduced to fine chocolate
here, Jenny is now an officially certified chocoholic whose personal
chocolate ecstasy is a chocolate brownie.
Louise
Jackson started her tour guiding career organising and
hosting events on luxury cruise liners. She has also worked for
the Institute of Directors, presenting at business leader events
throughout the UK. Since having a baby, Louise is delighted to
now be utilising these skills with her massive love of chocolate
to help fellow fans discover the world of chocolate!
Brian
has
been a European tour leader over the past 15 years combining a
good mix of culture and nightlife on his tours. Brian gave his
first chocolate talk aged 7 and ensured good school marks and
popularity for his efforts by handing out free chocolate at the
end to all his classmates. He shares an addiction of rose creams
with the Queen and principally leads the tours for the free sampling
along the way.
