What the chocolate lovers say...

These are few of the emails we have received over the years, and some quotes from the books we used to take on the early tours. I think I might actually love receiving these comments even more than I love eating the chocolate myself (maybe... :-) ).  

The main reason I started the tours was to share my love of chocolate with other people and hopefully show them an enjoyable tour of London so it's so nice to know that I managed it for at least a few people!

We know there are always ways to make things better so if you have any feedback or suggestions for improvements we would really love to hear them so please do contact us.

I’m just popping a note to you today, lest I forget to do it, given how time flies!

My friend and I took the Chocolate Ecstasy Tour on Saturday morning last, with tour guide Russell. I am just writing to say that we had a brilliant time from start to finish.

Russell is so knowledgeable not only about chocolate but about all of the parts of London that we walked through. We hardly noticed the three and a half hours pass by and were not bored or disinterested once during the tour. I would highly recommend the tour to all of my friends and will also put a note up on Tripadvisor about it. It’s perfect for any age group too. We just happened to be lucky with the weather on Saturday but I’m sure it would be just as much fun with the rain pouring down!

We had an absolutely amazing time. Russell was an excellent guide and was quite engaging in his discussions and got everyone involved. It was a bit of an eclectic group however he was able to pitch his discussions at a level for everyone to take something from it.

I also particularly liked how Russell was able to include a bit of a London tour into the chocolate tour. It was fascinating to hear about the history behind things that are taken for granted.

Again I had a great time, ate way too much chocolate and will be eating it for another few weeks (eating prestat chocolate as I write this (lime and chilli ganache - omg)).

Thanks for making this possible - would definitely be interested in doing the Chelsea tour when I'm back in the UK.

My mother, Barbara Willard, and I enjoyed the Chocolate Ecstasy Tour on Saturday, Sept. 12. Jen did a marvelous job! She was so friendly and knowledgeable, and of course, the chocolates we sampled were mouth-watering! We especially enjoyed the hot chocolate and the rose creams. In fact, we returned for both later during our holiday in London.

We bought chocolates from every shop to take home to our families in the U.S. We just arrived home the other day, as a matter of fact, and all our chocolates are already gone. They enjoyed them too!

Sorry I haven't answered more promptly, end of term stuff at school but had fully intended to thank you so much for the fantastic time Kate and I had on our chocolate ecstasy tour. We thought the bag of goodies was a lovely touch we didnt use the umbrellas on the day but mine has been well used this past week!] Our guide, Jennifer [Skapeti] was lovely, very well informed and had a good chat with Kate as she loves New York, and Kate was going on holiday there the next day. The places we visited were very welcoming and I have to say Rococo was great, the young girl in there was so helpful and again knew so much about chocolate, and though at Uni I felt she was really interested and not just doing it for a job.

The day as a whole was much better than anticipated if thats at all possible! I thought it was extremely professional but with a very personal edge and I have told SO many people who I hope will follow it up as something different to do for a gift etc [or just to indulge!] Kate thought the idea of the Hen party was a definite possibility, I think she was thinking I could do the Chocolate Ecstasy tour again with them then go home before they went clubbing! Ah well 2 years to sort that one out!!

Anyway, yes it was fantastic so let me wish you every success and thank you again,
